This accommodation is located in a quiet wooded valley between the picturesque fishing village of Damouchari (made famous in the MAMMA MIA movie) and the beautiful beach of Papa-Nero at the south end of Ag. Ionnis which has a long sandy beach (see picture 6) and Tavernas and cafes, one of the nicest beaches in Pelion.
From Volos city you travel up and over the Pelion mountain past the highest village called Chania. From the crest of the mountain you follow the road down on the Aegean side passing through the winter ski resort of ‘Agriolefkes’ and descening on the east slopes of the mountain towards the village of Kissos. After reaching Kissos follow the road to Mouressi and Damouchari. The accommodation is situated between Damouchari and the beautiful beach of Papa Nero. Close by is Ag.Ioannis and next to Mouressi is the village of Tsagarada and the well known beach of Mylopotamos, all wonderful places to see in Pelion.
Pelion is an all year round destination. During the summer visitors can enjoy the sea and walk on the tracks under the dense forest with the old plane trees, the chestnuts and beech trees, but also the fields with apple, cherry and peach trees. During autumn there are unique leaf colour combinations, while during winter the slopes of the mountain are covered with snow. Spring is dominated by the smell and colours of the blossoming trees and wild plants and spring flowers.
In this breathtaking location we have a small goup of cottages and Studios (new 2011) as follows:
Villa/House - 2 Bedrooms accommodating 4 persons
This is a two story building including two bedrooms with private bathrooms on the top story, having a breathtaking view of the blue Aegean sea in between old plane trees. On the ground floor you have a fireplace, a kitchenette and two livingrooms. We have 1 Villa only.
Lofted Cottages - Accommodating 4 persons
Lofted cottages with a living room, fireplace, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and the loft (accommodating 4 persons.
We have 2 Lofted Cottages.
Cottages - Accommodating 2 to 4 persons
Cottages with a living room, fireplace (in two of them), bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette (sofa turning into a bed accommodating 2 children or 1 adult). We have 3 Cottages.
Studios - Accommodating 2/3 persons
Studios with 2 single beds, bathroom and kitchenette (accommodating 2 persons). We have 2 studios, a smaller one and a larger one. The small one has two single beds next to each other. The larger studio has again two single beds and a sofa that can accommodate a child.
All accommodation is available from 14.00 on arrival day with check in till 24.00 - Departure by 12.00 on last day.
Linnen is replaced every 3 days and if needed more often.
Air-Conditioning and free Wi/Fi is available.

Location
The cottages are located between the picturesque fish village of Damouchari and the beautiful beach of Papa-Nero. The Ag.Ioannis beach is about 2 kms away, and next to it is Plaka beach. The cottages are located 6 kms from the village of Mouresi, 10kms from Tsagarada, 11 kms from Kissos, while Ag.Saranta and Chorefto beaches are about 30 minutes driving. The distance from Athens is 362 kms and 277 kms from Thessaloniki. The nearest airport with scheduled and charter flights is ‘Nea Anchialos’ airport (15 mins from the city of Volos).
Route from Volos
During the summer months the new road leading to Kissos, through the winter ski resort of ‘Agriolefkes’, can be used, while the route Volos, Agria, Kala Nera, Milies, Tsagarada, Mouresi and Damouchari can be used all year round.
