"Hi Phil, Just wanted to thank you for everything.
The boat was excellent and we had a wonderful weeks sailing. Thanks also for getting in touch when we ran into trouble. To our complete luck Stefanos happened to be in the next bay along in Alonissos and it was just a corroded connection that prevented the engine from restarting, which he quickly fixed. Will hopefully come back again next year. Kind Regards, Stefanos".

"Thanks to Philip Elliot of Mixitsailing, our week long cruise in the Sporades was a delightful experience. All arrangements were made via e-mail in the most efficient fashion. The boat was as promised and delivered ahead of the promised time by one of her owners, who took care of all the paperwork. Sailing was superb, about 170 nautical miles as per attached chart, about half of it under superb reaching with 20 knot winds-it does not get better than that. My favorite places….well Planitis on Kyra Panagia, but for those of you that are not into total solitude, Agnondas on Skopelos, despite its poorly protected harbor. Some of our pictures are attached. As a suggestion to the Greek state: how about charging real moorage fees? We were asked to pay only once, a mere eu2.97 for a 41 foot boat! I understand and welcome the hospitality, but given the current economic climate, it seems overly generous. Thanos"

"This has been first time we chartered a boat in Sporades and picked Mixit Sailing for our holidays. I was a bit worry about the age of the boat "Oceanis 38.1" , however, she was very well kept by the owner and many improvements were made on her, so even after few years of chartering she provided us with excelent and safe sailing. Thanks to Phil and Thanasis we had all the information we needed and all questions were answered promptly, from the first contact to the check out. Sporades are a great choice for those who like intermediate sailing conditions and love beautifull green islands with peacefull beaches. If I go again to Sporades, I will definetely pick Mixitsailing again. Vrato"

"Phil, many thanks from all the family for a wonderful hassle free 2 week charter. We have been bare boating as a family for years. This is the 1st time we have not used one of the major yacht charter companies and we were concerned that we would not be able to match the service, level of maintenance or quality of boat that we have been accustomed to. In fact in all respects our experience with Mixit surpassed our previous experiences.

"Hi Phil, This is so late but I realise we didn't tell you about our stay at Damouchari. It was amazing, the owners, the location , the accomodation.
I don't want anyone to know about this gem....I want to return asap! Seriously, our hotel in Volos, our boat, and then the villa in Damouchari was all so perfect! Cheers, Sharon"

Customer Comment (email): Fantastic Villas with great views over the bay and a lovely pool - highly recommended. They are really conveniently located for the dinghy sailing base in St Andrews Bay where we did some great dinghy sailing and kayaking. Our 11 year old daughter had some instruction and went solo whilst we were there and our 6 year old loved coming sailing with us. We're hoping to be able to return to Milina soon so he can learn more in the lovely warm and safe water too. We would highly recommend these Villas and the area for families or couples wanting to explore an uncommercial part of Greece where the greeks go on holiday, and to learn or practise some watersports. "Phil, We enjoyed our one week cuise so much last year we had to come back for two weeks this year and it was even better! Thank you so much for taking care of everything and helping us out as much as you did. You made the entire process easy and you chose a great boat for us. This yacht was imaculate and a joy to sail. In fact the first day leaving Volos we made 8.5 knots in the gulf! Sailing with Captain Carl again was also great! His expertise as a sailor and teacher, allowed us to have a great time while finding all the best little hidden anchorages as well as the best places to go to have a taverna meal.
Thanks again for everything! Hope to see you and Carl soon!

"Excellent arrival. Boat 5 minutes from airport. Met by Mixit team . Vessel in clean and in good order. Sailed to Skopelos, Alonnisos and around other islands. Lollita performed well both under sail and under motor. Anchored in beautiful bays. Nearly whole width of transom unfolds to become a large bathing platform. Standing room in all cabins. Heavy winds on last 2 days. Fast sail back to Skiathos (8 knots and harnesses). Great holiday. The right boat for the Aegean. A credit to Mixit. Thank you Phil and the team.
