MIXit Skipper Services
We can organise local or international yacht transfer and delivery services.
We appreciate that this is a complex task involving a valuable yacht and a complex passage with the objective of getting the craft to its destination in tip top condition.
Stage one is to have detailed discussions and put together a project plan and quotation for your approval.
This will include :
- Experienced skipper and crew selection
- Passage plan and all travel arrangements
- All legal issues regarding the passage
- All Customs and Immigration issues
- An extensive pre-delivery check and full preparation of the vessel for the trip
- All measures taken to ensure the safe delivery of the vessel
- A complete post-delivery check
- A comprehensive condition report on completion
- Progress reports at agreed intervals.
Owners are very welcome to join the delivery and take part in any way they wish.
Whist all Skippers carry their own Professional Indemity Insurance we do recommend that you include them as co-owners on the ship's main insurance policy.
The completion/condition report will provide a comprehensive report detailing how the vessel and it's systems performed so that owners are able to immediately put in hand any repairs or modifications that they may wish.
