2022 COVID-19 Updated Booking Terms

2021 was a better than expected year with many of us going ahead with our plans whilst adhering to the latest Covid protocols successfully. Now we are hoping that during 2022 we can safely get on with our travel/holiday plans and more specifically to get back on the water and and escape and enjoy the sailing holiday maybe missed in 2021. We understand the uncertainty caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and therefore propose to continue with the reassurance provided by the 2020 and 2021 updated booking terms.

FOR NEW 2022 BOOKINGS

In the case that a charter customer is unable to get to the base at the time of the charter due to travel restrictions when there is an official advisory not to travel to the area of the booked charter, flight cancellation or the border is closed to the country of origin of the customer and/or Greece, the following will apply:

RESCHEDULE 2022: For already booked charters it will be possible to change your dates for a later period in the 2022 season, subject to yacht availability.

RESCHEDULE 2023: It will be possible postpone your charter booking and a credit note be issued or to rebook the same yacht in the 2022 season, subject to yacht availability.

Please note that if the rescheduled charter booking for 2022/23 is more expensive the price difference will be charged in your balance payment and if less expensive there is no price difference reimbursement.

We are happy to discuss specific agreements for deposit payment and balance payment if required.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a negative COVID-19 test is required by the Greek Authorities to enter Greece, failure of this to be provided by the charterer (and crew) when required does not qualify and our standard cancellation terms will apply. It is entirely the clients responsibility to organise all necessary tests and protocols required at the time of travel in order to proceed with your booking. MIXit Sailing is not liable in any way for complications caused by Coronavirus related issues and the client travels entirely at their own risk.

CANCELLATION: If the charterer chooses to cancel the booking then the standard cancellation terms will apply.
